MODEL: AD14-400

PCI Express A/D Board

AD14-400 Series - Dual 14 bit, 400 MS/s

The AD14-400 series has two 20-400 MS/sec 14-bit ADCs, 8GB of on-board memory and the ability to transfer data directly into the host computer's memory at up to 3.2GB/sec (400MS/s * 2 bits per sample * 2 channels). Streaming to the host computer can be performed simultaneously with acquisition to on-board memory, increasing the effective acquisition length by using the host computer's memory. Dual channel boards sample concurrently at the input clock frequency, and can also be software selected to run in single channel mode, providing twice the effective memory depth.

The ability to accept a rapidly swept, and even interrupted, external clock during acquisition makes the AD14-400 series ideally suited for the most demanding laser applications.

Included with each card are powerful LabVIEW graphical waveform viewers, example user software (complete with source) code , and device drivers for Linux and Windows. The example software is intended to allow users to quickly prototype and develop their applications. Drivers and sample VI's are included in the Windows software package. Synchronization with external hardware is easily done using optional external clocking, external triggering, selective recording, powerful analog waveform level/slope triggering, and multiple user programmable TTL I/O. Ultra powerful data driven level/slope triggering and up to 32k sample software adjustable pre-trigger depth.
